////////

"Dressed for the Occasion" invites us to a profound reflection on the ceaseless social theatre we inhabit. Each encounter, each space, demands a careful selection of our identity attire. This collection of works explores the metaphor of dressing as an act of transformation and adaptation, revealing how we modify our face, voice, and gesture depending on the stage we tread. We construct versions of ourselves that conform to the expectations of the moment, sometimes protecting our vulnerability, at other times exhibiting calculatedly controlled facets of our essence, in a constant dance between the authentic self and the social persona we portray. Through the works of Paula Elion, Fran Speicher, and Diego Giunta, the exhibition unravels the narratives we weave with our appearance, questioning the masks we choose and the stories we tell the world.
